At Bucks we like to see all our student getting work experience at the very best advertising agencies. All three years of creative advertising students have now been out on placement this year. A big thank you to the following agencies for their support in hosting our students in 2018:

Sophie and Liv went to Battle Bogle Hegarty
We had an amazing time at BBH and learnt so much in such a short pace of time. We loved working with such inspiring creatives on Tesco, Nestle and Audi and really got an experience for the way the agency produces such amazing work. It was nice to see some Bucks grads around the place and of course, Carnaby street is such a perfect location, especially with the lovely weather we had. Everyone was really welcoming and happy to help, and we loved all the office dogs!
Luke and Katie went to Portas…
People at Portas looked after us like we were their own, from clothes to shopping centres, to D&AD festival they gave us tons of opportunity to strive. The agency thrives from having Mary’s input in each creative meeting as she has a lot of experience and knowledge of the industry. They celebrate the weekend on Friday afternoon with food and drinks to round off the week!
Jess and Hannah went to Mr President…
Our placement at Mr President was great. We were put on briefs straight away and given opportunities to really add to what the teams were already doing. It made a nice change to feel as though we were really contributing to things that would be made in the future. Everyone welcomed us with open arms and were more than willing to have a chat about anything, whether that be “how on earth do you afford your London rent?” to “is it octopuses or octopi?” (Spoiler: its octopuses because it’s Greek, not Latin.) We learnt a lot including a real music education from Stefan, one of the creatives, and ended our stay with a standing ovation for the presentation of cake and Baileys on a Friday afternoon.
